The Drill-Pilot® NG is an inertial navigation system based on three fibre optic rate gyros and an accelerometer triad. Installed directly behind the drill head in the drill linkage, it supplies position and attitude data throughout the drilling process, facilitating continuous monitoring as well as rapid corrections to the bore.

The Drill-Pilot® NG can also be used as an ideal solution for the retrospective surveying of existing drill holes.
