About us
Saxore Bergbau is developing a sustainable mining project that focuses on techmetals such as tin and indium, guided by the principle of 'leaving no trace' on the environment.
Located in the German Erzgebirge, a district with an 850-year mining tradition, the company is committed to delivering conflict-free resources that have been explored under the highest environmental standards.
This will support the global clean energy and technological revolutions.
Tin is a crucial yet often overlooked energy metal. In a decarbonized future of electric transportation and renewable power grids, circuit boards requiring significant amounts of solder, and consequently tin, play a vital role.
However, 97% of the global tin supply comes from emerging and developing economies, with 40% originating from artisanal mining, which has devastating effects on the environment.
Through its flagship sustainable mining project, Saxore is aiming to provide a conflict-free alternative for a rapidly growing market.

Saxore Bergbau is developing a sustainable mining project that focuses on tech metals such as tin and indium, guided by the principle of 'leaving no trace' on the environment.
Beginning in 2026, Saxore aims to explore around 6000 tons of tin yearly. Tin is a crucial yet often overlooked energy metal.
In a decarbonized future of electric transportation and renewable power grids, circuit boards requiring significant amounts of solder, and consequently tin, play a vital role.
Our project will offer resources for a rapidly growing market looking for conflict-free alternatives to the current supply.
